Who I am
This website belongs to Chris Kyriacou, known as Chris K. If you have any question about your information, email support@chriskyriacou.uk.
What I collect
Only what you type in. From the contact form: your name, email address, mobile number, position, message and, if you choose to add it, your agency name. From a free download: your first name and email address.
Why, and what happens to it
Contact form details are used to reply to you and, if you ask, to arrange a call. That is the lawful basis: you asked me to get back to you. Now and then I may also email you something I think will help you build your business, unless you tick "Just reply to me, no other emails" on the form. Every one of those emails lets you unsubscribe.
When you ask for a free download, I email it to you and add you to my email list, as the form says, so I can send you the odd email with more like it. That is the lawful basis: your consent. Every email lets you unsubscribe, or reply "unsubscribe" and I'll take you off.
I never sell your details or pass them to anyone else except the services that make the site work:
- Vercel hosts the website and runs the forms.
- HighLevel, through my LeadRocket account, holds the email list and sends your download and my emails.
- Resend delivers the contact form to my inbox, sends you a short confirmation, and sends a download if HighLevel can't.
- Zoho hosts my email inbox.
- Cloudflare runs the spam check on the forms.
Some of these companies may process data outside the UK. When they do, they rely on the UK's approved safeguards for international transfers.
How long I keep it
Contact form details: for as long as we are in conversation, and then for up to two years in case you get back in touch. Email list: until you unsubscribe. Ask me to delete your details sooner and I will.
Cookies
Nothing that tracks you loads until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you do, these load:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, to see which pages people read and how they found the site.
- The Meta pixel, so I can see which of my ads lead to a download and show my ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who've visited.
- The LinkedIn Insight Tag, which does the same on LinkedIn.
- Usermaven and SiteBehaviour, to see how people use the site.
- WiserNotify, which can show small pop-up notices on the site.
Say no and none of it loads. Your choice is remembered in your browser for a year, and you can change it any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Two small things are always kept in your browser, and neither tracks you: your cookie choice, and your first name for a moment after you ask for a download, so the thank-you page can say hello. The spam check on the forms, Cloudflare Turnstile, runs without asking because the forms can't work without it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it or have it deleted. Email me and I'll sort it. If you are unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
